KC HAXTON ADDS HUMOR
TO THE WEBER ART COLLECTION
KC Haxton’s first words were red, blue, and “lellow.” Ever since he was able to hold a pen in his hand, KC has been making art. Born in Santa Cruz, California, Haxton traveled the country with his family, gathering experiences that shaped his unique view of the world at a young age, never livng in one place for longer than a few months.
At the age of 14, KC moved into a Buddhist temple with his father where his days were spent donating his time to the tiger sanctuary at the temple, aiding in the rehabilitation of abused and unwanted exotic animals. Since, KC has become a sponsored ameteur skateboarder, an accomplished carpenter and an apprentice to an architect. He became a self-employed graphic artist and photographer, winning several awards. KC has also acted in over 15 different plays as well as starred in several short films.
In 2002, KC transformed his garage in to a studio and started painting. Haxton now lives and works in Los Angeles, California. “Art is a medium that opens the door into the unknown, and provides a platform in which one can explore, indulge and grow. Art provides the stage for the experience, and is infinite in its possibility.”
With so many accomplishments at only 23 years old, its no wonder KC Haxton is growing popular quickly.
